WATFORD CITY, N.D., June 27, 2018 -- BBI International announced this week the keynote speaker for the 4th annual Bakken Conference & Expo, one of North Dakota's premier shale oil events, taking place July 16-18 in Watford City, North Dakota. This year's agenda headlines Oasis Petroleum, Vice President of Operations as the keynote speaker who will highlight current and future operations in the Bakken shale play.
"The addition of Oasis Petroleum's Vice President of Operations, Jason Swaren, to the 2018 agenda line-up highlights the impressive range and type of content assembled for this year's event," says Luke Geiver, program director for the Bakken Conference & Expo. "From major operator perspective to the latest updates in field-level technology, we've created an event that is accessible and valuable to multiple Bakken stakeholders."
The 2018 panel presentations will provide in-depth analysis and timely presentations from 40-plus speakers focused on the following:
The Conference will be taking place in Watford City, the epicenter of North Dakota's energy boom, and will give attendees the opportunity to network with industry leaders, explore the latest industry technologies and join the conversation on improving oil recovery and transport arising out of the Bakken shale play.
"For the first time ever, Watford City is hosting a major Bakken-themed event. The show's location will give those in the field—or interested in the field—insight and information from the heart of the play."
There will also be a free community BBQ taking place Monday, July 16th from 5 pm to 7 pm. Members of the community will have an opportunity to see first-hand some of the technologies that are shaping the Bakken Shale Play, in their backyard. All are welcome.
